Wolverine started Project Bootstrap in 2014 to celebrate and support those choosing to go into the skilled trades. Each year, we’ve met incredible people, organizations, companies and schools who are truly making a difference. This year we’re partnering with Metallica’s nonprofit All Within My Hands (AWMH) and are setting out on a different type of 2020 US tour – one to help build the next generation of American workers by showing just how much trade jobs rock.

Together with AWMH and the Metallica Scholars program, which supports community colleges and their career and technical education programs, we’ll be touring the country providing trade students and schools across the country with scholarship funding and work boots. This summer, the AWMH and Wolverine Partnership will benefit three exceptional community college trade programs – Grand Rapids Community College, Lone Star College and WSU Tech.
