For $145.00 I expected much better quality. What ever happened to buying a good pair of boots? Price keeps going up, and quality keeps going down.

Disappointed - by , Aug 28, 2018

I've been wearing wolverine durashocks boots for 15 years now and this was the first pair that disappointed me. It's only been 4 months and they have already started falling apart and broke down. They look like they are 5 years old already. And yes at first they were comfortable but now my feet are starting to hurt again. Not good for the money spent!!!

Quality headed down fast - by , Dec 05, 2016

This is the closest replacement for the W02081 which is a great boot. I wish I had bought two pairs. My W02081 boots are 5 years old and in overall very good condition and I am not easy on them. I work in a specialty auto fab facility standing a lot, welding, etc. And I use them around the farm. My one year old W03226 boots are already showing signs of the sole binding separating from the leather upper. I am in search of a replacement and Wolverine just doesn't seem to have it. Using a composite material in a welding environment is a non-starter. I am very disappointed to see quality going down on a boot I considered the best for a decade.

Not great for construction workboots - by , Feb 04, 2017

I bought these boots knowing they might be a little big men's vs women's shoes. What I didn't expect from a "waterproof" shoe is it not being able to handle wet or muddy surfaces. I used to have Catapillar boots but was suggested I try Wolverine. Now I wish I hadn't.

Waterproof but not comfortable - by , Jul 14, 2017
2/ 5 Stars
I bought this boot thinking it would be great for trail work where it's common to be working long days on tough terrain in wet and cold conditions. The boot was great to some regard and kept my feet dry and warm. The first month I had it was great, kept my feet from tiring out and kept me from slipping in wet kitchens. However, when I started my trail season, I hadn't had a day where it wasn't painful to stand and walk, let alone hike up and down trail. My toes would cram into the toe of the boot, heel would constantly slip around inside, and the insole tore within four weeks of the ten week season. I cant walk down tread without feeling like I'm going to slip. Exhausted is a small word for how my feet felt at the end of the day. This boot may be great for working in a wet kitchen but it's definitely not meant for forestry work.

Loyal buyer, product should have been recalled. - by , Jan 08, 2018

Was at local shoe source,( Thorndike factory outlet) and the sales guy was wearing a pair of wolverine durashocks , I asked him about it and he said if your going to be on your feet all day, get comfortable shoes. So I bought them. Absolutely the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. so over the years have bought I think 5 or 6 pair of the same shoes. Never disappointed.Than this last pair the sole starts to fall apart, first in one spot than another until it becomes ridiculous. the tops are in great shape, the bottoms, not so much. So I go back to Sears ( Thorndike is no more) and ask if there has been a problem with these shoes, he has little to say, I look around the sales floor and find 3 display models that match my own shoes and they are all falling apart on display. Frankly I think customers helped them on their way because they had the same problem with them that I had. that being the soles center tread insert were poorly glued and would start to flip flop under your feet. And points of inflection would crack after what I considered marginal use. These are all new problems, like I said 5 or 6 pair, no prob. I concluded I should get a more durable shoe and not expect a home owner version take the abuse of commercial use.

Not as expected - by , Dec 06, 2018

Boots were not very comfortable even though they were Durashocks. I used to buy Durashocks about 7 years ago until my retailer discontinued selling them. I’d figure I purchase online and try, but these are not made like they were years ago, too hard for me.
