Great boot. These are sized about a size and a half larger than the Muaraders I usually wear. But they are still super comfy and help my back and knees on the concrete floors.

Great boot.

very good boot so far I was first very disappointed when I received the boots in the mail, in that they are not Made In the U.S.A. as I thought they were advertised. That was my number one first decision in what boots I was going to buy as I have had such bad experiences with Chinese manufactured boots (most other countries are of good quality but you can never tell what country they'll be from until you get the boot), and I would rather buy USA made anyway whenever possible. It seems Wolverine touts their men's dress line of shoes as Made in the USA, which they are, but failed to impress on customers that that is the only line of shoes they produce that are manufactured here, all other shoes and boots (I'm pretty sure) are manufactured elsewhere. As I had spent some time deciding on what boots to buy, I had little choice but to give them a chance, and I have been quite happy with them after 6 or so months with them. First they were much larger than I was expecting, I'm swimming around in them a bit more than I wanted but I felt this probably wasn't such a bad thing as these were safety toe boots and the more room the better. Even though they are large, and the safety toe is very well fitted, I still went through about 2 weeks of both my big toes getting brutalized by the edge of the safety toe (possibly because the boots were too large and my feet moved around in them rubbing against the almost imperceptible safety toe edge, otherwise they might not have rubbed at all), but once they healed and built up a callous at that spot I was good to go, have never had an issue since. I don't think this is a problem with Wolverine's per se, but just safety boots in general, so it was not an issue for me. Other than that temporary issue, the boots are tremendously comfortable from Day 1, almost too comfortable... as the very soft inner sole is a bit too plush and takes away from some of the stability of the shoe. But over time it seems to have compressed a little, just enough that that doesn't seem to be a problem anymore. Another issue I had was the outer toe covering that is advertised as a special material that resists abrasive wear. Well, let me tell you, I have never had any shoe that disintegrated that quickly in the toe area, within one week, that's 5 days at work (I work indoors in a Sheet Metal Shop doing welding and fabrication, though because I'm the resident mechanic as well, I tend to be on my knees fairly often with my boot toes rubbing on the concrete floors), the cool carbon-fiber-looking outer toe material already rubbed completely off at the contact point, exposing the excellent carbon-nano-tube safety toe. Other than an aesthetic issue, it really means nothing as the carbon-nano-tube safety toe is extremely durable and I should add, a MUST to get... forget the heavy steel toes, or the uncomfortable aluminum toes, or weak plastic toes, nothing compares to the very thin and extremely strong carbon-nano-tube toes, there's just no comparison. The rest of the boot though is excellent, have had absolutely no issues with wear, the leather is good quality and well sewn, and the soles are well bonded to the uppers, the lace system is excellent and quick and easy and fool-proof, and the tread on the soles have an excellent grip on just about anything... water, snow, dirt, you name it... They surprised me at how well they grip in some situations that I was certain they wouldn't. Overall I'm very happy with the boots, very pissed at first that they're not made in the USA though, Wolverine really needs to be very specific about that, their advertising is misleading. And I laughed at how piss poor the outer toe material is, but other than that... an excellent work boot!! Would definitely buy them again.

Nice Boots I was disappointed in the boots! The steel toe rubs my toe on both boots. I tried a thicker sock but it didn't work. I would have to put on a band-aid on each toe in order to make them work. Had high hopes but they didn't work, stay away from the steel toes at all cost!!!
