Comfort
Weak hardwear and cut corners - by , Feb 10, 2019
2/ 5 Stars
I’ve been wearing these for about a year. In that time I have had to re-affix both heels (one came off when my fiancé accidentally stepped on my heel while walking) and have also noticed that the hardware at the top of the ankle bends easily when I have my boots laced tight. I’m constantly bending them back in to position, unaccepatble for a $385 dollar boot.

Go down a size, great boot. - by , Feb 08, 2019

I honestly love the look of these boots but make sure they are larger than size, so go down a size.

Beautiful but uncomfortable - by , Feb 06, 2019
2/ 5 Stars
I love the way these boots look but they are incredibly uncomfortable. There is absolutely no cushioning or arch support in the boots. I have high arches which means there is more pressure on the heel and forefoot when I walk, and it feels like my feet are being slammed on cement. I am unable to wear them. Wolverine should think about offering a custom package with a leather lining and light cushioning for wimps like myself.

wonderful boot - by , Feb 05, 2019

Breaks in quickly - size as expected because i read the reviews. They do run about 1/2 size smaller than you normally wear. Very nice shoe - I bought one in brown and black!

Leather Soles Only Letdown - by , Feb 03, 2019
4/ 5 Stars
I've had the boots about 3 years now and have worn them something like 5 days a week during that time. All 4 seasons in Indiana, Minnesota and Northern Europe. These shoes go the distance if you take care of them. The construction of the top to the sole is superior to other leather boots I've had which have disintegrated at this joint after several years. Keep'em clean, and polished regularly and you'll get a long long life out of them. The only let-down to their durability is a big one. The leather soles don't hold up. At all. I've had the heel cap and sole replaced once already after about 2 years, when they started seeping water into the interior, and now it's time to do it again. This time I'm going with rubber.

Great Pair of Boots - by , Jan 30, 2019

Ordered from a flyer I received because I liked how they looked. Very please with the fit and look especially with jeans. I knew nothing about the brand and the 1000 mile boots. Happy to say that is no longer the case.

Great look, great fit, but it's a 200 mile boot - by , Jan 22, 2019

First, let me say that I waited until I literally put in around a thousand miles to review this product. I have walked at least a mile a day in them on pavement during fall, winter, and spring seasons in Chicago over the last 5 years, so they've gone through quite a bit of salt, snow, and puddles. So consider my experience a real life stress test for the average urban joe. The shoes still look great. I've had them polished only twice during that time and besides a few scuffs on the heel they look beautiful, even without recent polishing. Color has not faded. I am even still using the original laces, which I have not washed or done anything with. That being said...I have had to completely replace the leather soles with rubber vibram soles, and the leather inserts with Dr. Scholls. The leather sole wore through and got holes in it and the inside of the shoe would get damp. The insert pretty much disintegrated after heavy use. For a boot this expensive, I would have hoped it could withstand more simple pavement. Get the shoe if you want a nice looking, fashionable winter boot and do not have to trek around too much in it. But, make no mistake - despite the name, the leather sole will not stand up to heavy wear and tear. I'd call it a 200 mile boot.

Love the deep, rich, brown color of the 100 Mile boot. It has virtually no break-in time. Recently I have started rolling up the cuffs of my jeans and these really compliment that look.

What an amazing boot....worth every penny!!!!! - by , Jan 10, 2019

I usually don't leave reviews for most products, but.....these boots are awesome. Worth every penny. I have tried several other boots, but these are the one. I am usually a 10.5-11 3 E.....so I ordered a 10.5 3E. I probably could have fit in a 10 3E. But they still fit me well, I just wear a thicker pair of socks. Out of the box extremely comfortable with no break-in time. If your on the fence about ordering......just do it.

Classic, Great Boot - by , Jan 08, 2019

Great fit, beautiful boot. Takes a few weeks for the shoe to really start loosening and with this specific pair incurred a bit of pain in my feet. But it's getting better now and still won't keep me from wearing them.
