I purchased a pair of these in 12/2011. The left boot started squeaking badly after only a week or two. I took them to my cobbler and he determined that the squeak was due to a loose shank. The warranty process was great and Wolverine replaced them quickly. To my dismay, I ran into THE VERY SAME ISSUE with the replacement pair: The left boot started squeaking after a few months of wear. When I called Wolverine, I was informed that the replacement boots have ZERO warranty (news to me). I was told I could have my cobbler fix them (resole), and they’d then split the bill. While not impossible to swallow, it’s $25 - $30 out of my own pocket for an issue that Wolverine should handle. At the current price point, Wolverine should cover any and ALL defects in material and workmanship. BOTTOM LINE: Very poor quality for the price, warranty policy is suspect as well.

China boot with a US made price tag By gaberadvan 1/4/2013
Way over priced for a China boot.
