Mayall - Wolverine 8" Moc-Toe Work Wedge With Plaid Fold-Down

Easily one of the most comfortable pair of boots I've worn with a great style, but I ran into the same quality/construction issues as the previous review (though thankfully, I waterproofed my boots, so no wet feet). I'm also not particularly rough with my boots (just lots of walking), but after a couple of months, the seams near the fold gave way and the tip of the fold began to curl.

I love the style of this boot and it's extremely comfortable. That being said I'm a little disappointed in the construction. I wear this boot almost everyday, but I'm not working construction or doing anything that would put extra stress on it. The seams in the back where the fold down cloth meets the inside leather have already torn after what has probably been only two months. I'm not happy with the fold down either because the tips curl up but it's not that big of a deal. The only other complaint I have is that such an expensive boot didn't come water proofed. Discovered that after a beer was spilled, foot was cold and wet all night

I purchased a pair of these boots in December of 2012. I have been wearing the boots on and off for a couple months now. For the first month I had issues with the leather in the heel of the boots. The lip was wearing away at my heel and causing blisters and even bleeding and as a result were very uncomfortable. I only wore the boots once and a while. Since mid January I have been wearing them more often and having less issues until today. March 03, 2013, I noticed the leather heel and stitching inside is wore through completely and as a result the interior plaid around the inner sides of the boot and up the heel is falling apart. Initially when I was looking for a pair of boots I did not expect to be paying over $300.00 but I opted to pay the amount assuming Wolverine was a respectable brand with a dependable product. I love the boots, and I would like to wear them for as long as they hold up. I am very upset that these boots are falling apart after only 2-4 months of on and off use. I would like to know what Wolverine is willing to do to correct this issue.
