8" Plainsman By samuse 12/11/2012
I bought a pair of 8" Plainsman boots to wear in South Texas working in the pipeline industry. The unlined Horween leather is great for the hot weather and harsh conditions out here. The padded footbed and Vibram sole offer great shock absorption and are easy to break in - comfortable right out of the box. They are a bit spendy, but the quality components and made in USA are well worth it to me. I will be looking for another pair of these when the time comes for another pair of work boots. Don't stop making these boots Wolverine!
