Great Work Boots - by , May 12, 2020
5/ 5 Stars
The first pair of Wolverines I have owned in some time and they have worked out nicely. Fit is good and comfort hits the mark. I have had them on afternoon since receiving them and look forward to doing the same today.

I really like these boots! - by , May 09, 2020

It is your standard cowboy leather boot but it is shaped like my flipper feet. I wore them to work for a 5 day 10 hr shift to really test them. Although I walk a lot I had no blisters. In fact they were quite comfortable and raised my confidence walking in the tall grass. I would recommend these boots!

More comfortable than I would have thought. No break in required.

Square toe for best fit. - by , Mar 03, 2020

I have been trying to find a good fitting safety toe for a while. In my opinion, if you do not know your size, you should not keep the boots that feel comfortable right out of the box because the leather will stretch. The boot will become a size or two too large and, especially while walking downhill, your toes are going to painfully rub against the steel/composite toe even if at first there was no rubbing at all. However, finding a tight fit around the metatarsal area in round safety toe often means your toes will rub from the start, which is not good either. So I finally decided to go with a wide square toe and two numbers down from regular shoe size. My toes did not rub the safety toe and the boots were tight on metatarsal area at first. After a week or so the leather stretched and fit is finally perfect fit. The metatarsal part of the boot stretches and the boots look better proportioned too (don't look like a disproportionately long boot as in the pictures). I also wanted a waterproof boot and deep slugs for the mud. These boots are not advertised as waterproof in the description but they do come with the waterproof tag and popup when filtering for waterproof. Just in case, I also tested them in the water and indeed they are. So, a long story but something like this would have helped me not buy two more pairs of boots that ended being too loose to wear. I guess the idea is to have something that fits like a glove, and this means they have to be tight enough and even uncomfortable at first to stretch into the perfect size. Hope this can help someone save money. A month of normal everyday use and I am super happy I got these.

Great boot but a little tighter than I'd like - by , Oct 19, 2019

I ordered these boots as a replacement for my other wolverines. As soon as they came I put them on cause I knew that they would need to be broke in. The very first thing I noticed is that the ankle area is pretty small so I had a very difficult time getting my feet in the boots. I have been wearing them for around 2 weeks now and it has gotten easier but not much. On the inside of the boot the leather is lined with cloth and I'm worried that, from the force of putting my feet in the boots, that the cloth will rip out before the boot wears out. Also, it's tight on top of the foot even after 2 weeks of wear. I am moderately happy with the boots but wish they weren't so tight around the ankle and on top of the foot.
