Comfort
Weak Leather - by , Dec 01, 2015
2/ 5 Stars
I have had these boots for roughly 3-4 months. After I got them broke in all was good. They fit comfortably and gripped good too. Then I started realizing how weak/soft the leather was on the toe. Then I noticed today that on the back of the boot, by your a achillies on the boot, about 4 inches up the leather ripped. And not just on one of the boots, but both in the same spot proving that this must just be a ridiculous weak point in the leather/stitching or something. This was kinda my breaking point on making me a return customer.

Extremely comfortable, but not as durable - by , May 06, 2015

I purchased these boots roughly 8 months ago. I wear them nearly everyday for at least 10 hours, except in the winter which they were used much less. When I first starting using them they were a bit stiff but broke in very quickly. Whether I am landscaping or doing maintenance on the ski hill, my feet are extremely comfortable. The contour welt conveniently locks on to materials that are 2" wide or less whether it be a 2x4, square metal tubing, small logs and branches, or rungs on a latter. Needless to say the boots are very stable and have a good amount of grip. An oily floor is no match for these boots, I do not think I have slipped once on a shop floor while wearing them. I can be working on top of a tower and comfortably stand up knowing my boots will hold me in place. The water proofing is superb. While mowing lawns or installing hardscapes, there is usually water in the form of dew, rain, or from irrigation. The only time my feet get wet is from sweating in them. Even while working at the ski hill in the winter my feet did not become wet. There is one problem with them. After owning the boots for 5 months or so they began to fall apart, which I feel is very premature. The stitching had begun to come undone and in certain areas the leather was tearing. By now, 8 months laters, my boots look like they are ready to throw in the towel. Maybe the pair I had purchased was just a poorly constructed one. They are still as comfortable and waterproof as when I got them. I would rate them higher but due to the quality of the stitching and leather, I feel 3 out of 5 stars is fair.

Had a question - by , Mar 17, 2015

I had recently purchased these for work and they are extremely comfortable and useful, but I did have one problem, a rivet has already popped out after 3 days of light/moderate working. Is this normal?

Are these boots metatarsal guard? It says they are but in the details it doesn't say anything about it.

Hard Working Man On Concrete ALL Day - by , Dec 30, 2009
5/ 5 Stars
This is my 2nd pair of Wolverine Multishox boots in the last 3 years. (needed a another pair to swap out every other day) I work inside on concrete and outside on asphalt all day, 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. I have owned Red Wings, Timberlands, Danners, etc. For concrete...there is no other boot I would buy but the Wolverine Multishox! COMFORT and STABILITY are what I require. There has never been another boot that has ever servered me so very well. I am converting others and I stand by what I say. The Wolverine Multishox are the optimal boot for working on hard surfaces. I drive heavy equipment, kick steel around, walk in water 3-5 inches deep and my Wolverine Multishox have "had my back" or...my feet, every time. I am brutal on boots. Period. I can honestly say I would never buy another line of boots for what I do.
