great boot One of the best steel toe boots I have ever worn. Not as durable most heavy rugged work boots. But is a great boot for its design.

DISAPPOINTED One of the salesmen at my office is a wolverine boot guy so I thought I would give them a try. After reading some of the reviews I thought these guys were not breaking in the boot long enough. I am 3.5 months now of wearing them 5 days a week. The first few week where ok normal "boot break-in". The tongue on the left boot will not stay straight. I have never had this issue on a boot before. This makes the left boot extremely uncomfortable. Every 30 minutes I have to unlace the boot and straighten it up and retie it, kind of a pain. Now the last two weeks my feet hurt after 5-10 minutes of wearing the boot, and not out working, just putting on the shoe and driving into work. I hate spending money on a boot and should not have to buy more than one pair a year so I am switching back to my Justin’s (they lasted two years before I changed). Overall I am disappointed in the product, but do like the look of the boot!

Nice looking but NO comfort If you are looking for a good looking boot to wear for a couple of hours, these would be the boot to wear. However, if you are on concrete for 8 hours I would look else where. I have had these boots for about a week and by the end of the day my heels feel like I'm walking on a bed of nails. They are not near as comfortable as my last pair of Wolverines. I would not recommend these boots if you work on concrete floors all day. The toe of these boots are great and like I said they look great but there is no comfort.

Three Pairs and counting I have had virtually no problems with these boots/shoes, and have just purchased my third pair. (Two were the steel-toe version, and one the non-steel toe). I'm often in them for 12-16 hours at a time, and go from business-casual to warehouse to driving and back continually. These are well fit, comfortable, require no long-term break-in period, and just plain last. Have had numerous inquiries as to the brand and where I purchased them, and many comments on how great they look, especially for work wear. I would recommend them to anyone.

1st & last pair This is the 1st pair of Wolverine I have ever purchased. Normal brand has always been Justin. This time around I thought I would try something different and liked the looks of these, felt pretty good when tried them on in store and for about the first couple of weeks they were ok. I am only 5 weeks into having them and my feet literally kill me. I have plenty of toe wiggle room but for some reason my pinky toes are so tender and irritated that by mid day I can barely even walk and that's with tears in my eyes. I can't afford to buy boots just to throw in the closet no longer than I have had these. I am curious as to what you, Wolverine are planning on doing about this? It would be so nice if you would replace these with something else, more comfortable.

Wolverine's reply

Thank you for the review of this pair. We are sorry to hear about the discomfort you have had with this style. Perhaps we need to look at a soft toe style that does not push on the toes for replacement. We will be in touch with you soon.
