I love my Wolverine Work Boots I have been wearing Wolverine Steel-Toe Work Boots for years and would not wear anything else. They saved my foot about 12 years ago from being crushed by a Raymond. I used to wear the sneaker type of steel-toe boots and if I had been wearing them that day, I probably would not have my left foot right now. I do have one issue with these boots, but it is not a big issue. I have always had to change out the laces on these boots. If you could please put longer laces in these boots it would be greatly appreciated.

Amazing I have owned and worn the boots for about a year now. Still very comfortable boots and still get the job done I work for a utility company in the Midwest so weather can be all over the place. Great for hot weather, and with a good pair of socks my feet stay warm in the winter even without thinsulate. Also always nice not having to worry about puddles because they keep my feet dry.

carpenter I too liked the Compressor and had many pairs over the years. After studying the options and reading the reviews I chose Brek..just like Tony did. After 2 weeks of wearing them, I cut away they web connecting the tongue and upper part of the boot because of the pain caused by the excessive build up of material as it pressed against the inside of my ankle bone. Otherwise, I like the boots.

Electrician Purchased the Brek because my usual Wolverine Compressor's not available ( being discontinued or something ). Bring back my 6" Compressors, style # W04242. I'm not completely satisfied with the design of the Brek, two many cuts of leather sewed together and the " three " piece cemented sole ? ? ? Well, I will have to wait until the end of 7-to-8 months to decide if I selected the right replacement for the Compressors ... I have this doubt in the back of my mind though.
