Zeus Wolverine DuraShocks® Oxford

I am about to buy my fourth pair of these shoes . . . but only because the soles cracked again. Most comfortable shoes I ever bought, but like the previous statement, wet feet are miserable. Bought a nice pair from LLBean a week ago to replace my Wolverines, but nowhere near as comfortable. I put my cracked Durashocks back on until I can get another pair. It's too bad that Wolverine can't fix that sole issue after all these years. The first pair's sole cracked on the right foot, second pair cracked on both feet, the current pair I am wearing (it's not raining today) cracked on the left foot's sole. Would give SIX stars if they could fix those soles.

These are among the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I just purchased another pair today (my 7th or 8th..lost track, lol). I spend a great deal of time on my feet everyday, standing and walking. The reason I only gave a three star rating for these is that after approximately 8 months after purchase the soles crack. This has occurred on every pair that I have owned. The shame of it is, that the shoes still look like new, even after a couple of years of hard use. However, keeping your feet dry is impossible, especially here in New England and nothing is more miserable than wet feet. If not for the fit and comfort of these shoes, I probably would not continue to purchase these. If you could only fix the soles these shoes would easily rate five stars.

I had a pair of Durashock boots for 8 years. Best boots I ever owned..... But soles cracked and had to let them go. I searched for another boot but found they no longer made it, but they did make the shoe. I ordered it and it is as good as the boot. I have peripheral neuropathy in my feet, there are few shoes which I find that I can tolerate. These shoes are now my work shoes for my 11 hour workdays. I love them.
