Named for Wolverine’s founder, G.A. Krause, the Krause boot is made in America from Horween Dublin Leather. The leather is tanned in a process similar to the process used to make shell horsehide, resulting in great depth of color that is highlighted in the Krause by contrast stitching along the archival pattern line and cap toe. The full lace-up boot has a butyl-treated leather outsole, Vibram heel lift, and a classic leather storm-welt with traditional Goodyear Welt construction.

On my 7th pair of 1000 mile boots now. As a Krause, I would like to try the KRAUSE boot, but $555.00, a little too pricey for my pension.They really look nice! You make a real good boot! Regards, Larry Krause

Another great boot in the 1000-mile collection By AK 2/6/2013
I bought the Russet Brown Krause and it is not only striking in its looks, but really comfortable and superbly made. There are a lot of choices when it comes to quality boots, but for me the 1000-Mile collection sits comfortably at the top of the list.
