This isn't a long tested durability review, I hope to add on to this if they'll let me, or do another after I've tested them for longevity. That aside, I have to make some initial comments about the boot. Been wearing Wolverine for a long time, through many styles. This is by far the most comfortable right out of the box. They're lighter, the leather is softer, and the Durashocks as always, deliver comfort like walking on air. These feel like slippers or comfy sneakers. Aside from a little pressure at the ankle when bending, due to Wolverine always seeming to stitch multiple pieces of leather in bad areas (some of us have bony ankles), though that's been the case with all my wolverines, and becomes non-existent as the leather softens. About the design, I'm not that thrilled about the aesthetics, I enjoy a more classic looking boot. Few things to take note of compared to the picture is the eyelets are black not brass, the slit on the outer sole area showing a strip of leather is really just the gray color of that sole layer. The leather was not as rich as the picture, a more lighter and pale looking brown, I'm hoping sno-seal and some dirt from work will give it more character. Because of the comfort I'm almost skeptical about the durability, I'm hoping the leather holds up being so soft right off the bat, and the strange neon blue sole, the treads only go about 1/8" deep. So I'm hoping they're crazy wear resistant or they still provide grip even with the tread worn down, they do appear to stick better than most. Looks aside, if these last at least a year I plan to buy a few pairs of them, to stock up in case they discontinue as a lot of other styles I like have, because the comfort right now is unparalleled.

Fitting my foot is difficult. Wide and a high arch. The boot ordered came in a timely manner. The break-in period was non-existent. Put them on and go to work.
