I usually wear 9.5 in the 1000 mile boots and always have room for an insole and thick socks.These boots are sized the same as my other 4 pairs and that is fine with me although I have placed a backorder for a size 9 in the same color to see what the difference is.That said ,I am so happy with these since there is a rubber sole because I can use them on the road doing my long haul job and I don'y have to worry so much about the oil and diesel fuel I'm always walking through.The style is fantastic with whatever style of pant I'm wearing which varies from jeans to very nice wool and cords.I like to look nice on the job and these boots have been a great addition to my collection.I have the brown and they take a conditioner very well just like the other boots.The fit is a half size big but good socks will feel better anyway.I highly recommend these and if you are looking for just 1 pair of 1000 mile boots to try may I suggest this one to be the first choice.You'll thank me later.
