Triad: Wolverine Durashocks® 6" ST EH 3D Waterproof Boot

This was the first Wolverine Durashock boot I've ever owned. I've had Georgia's, Timberland, etc, which were all somewhat comfortable and durable, but these are by far the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. I will probably buy Durashocks from now own, as long as the comfort factor never changes. I've had them for a year and they still are just as comfortable as ever. The only difference on my next purchase will be one with a little more airflow. These do get hot but then again, you cant do much about that. I'll probably wear these boots long after I buy a new pair. It's always good to switch your boots out every couple of days and I plan on wearing these till they fall apart.

This boot has an issue with the tongue that makes it very uncomfortable unless you very carefully flatten the tongue against the top of your foot and make sure the edge is tucked away. Although the boot is fine after doing this, it seems that a better design could have made the flattening and tucking un-necessary - it would have been automatic.

After a bit of research, I was looking forward to wearing these boots. Within two days, I found that the tongue does not have enough padding and a bulky seam rubbed into the top part of my foot. This boot does not seem to be as comfortable around the ankle as the Hytest boots that they are replacing. So far, the durashock sole has been comfortable. Expected better qaulity for the price paid!
