These boots are very comfortable right out of the box,I don't expect any break in period,the composite toe and metaguard are light much lighter than traditional steel toes. these boots are comfortable and tough I will wear them and resole them when needed and a nice tread that doesn't pick up rocks which is annoying with other traditional lug sole boots I'm glad a company puts some good thought into building better boots thanks alot and my feet thank you also.

Very comfortable!! Waterproof and warm in cold weather. Took a couple of weeks for total break-in ...but really a wonderful work boot. I am in and around coal mining sites everyday working in all conditions (cold-wet-dry-hot) and these have been a blessing so far as keeping my feet dry and warm. HIGHLY recomend these boots. I did replace the boot strings as the ones that came on the boot were kinda short and felt flemsy....but the boot itself is the best ( better than Matterhorns so far as keeping feet dry ) These boots seem to run just a bit small....but loosen up after a few weeks of wear. I also...outta habit did add some spray water-proofing on the boots....not sure they needed it....but this was done after a few months of wear.....I do this regularly just as protection against water. I will buy these boots again!!

These babies are as big and mean looking as any Doc Marten, but they're pillow-comfortable, totally waterproof, and durable as the Dickens. My only warning is that they can get really warm and can make your feet sweat, but come winter, you'll appreciate it. The best pair of boots I've ever owned.
