These are great boots!! By Harold Ray 2/11/2010

I put on my new pair of Big Sky-Wolverine® Insulated GORE-TEX® Waterproof Composite-Toe EH 8" Boots yesterday, and they fit like a glove. Today when I put them on again, I laced them a little tighter for a slightly snugger fit, and they feel even better, warm and extremely comfortable, like I've been wearing them for years. If you are looking for a strong, warm pair of hunting or work boots, I think thse boots may easily be what you are searching for. They are certainly perfect for me!! Thanks, Wolverine!!!

How do you most use this product?: I'm a Texas veterinarian; I use these Wolverine boots while i'm working, playing and just knocking around. Yes, they are that comfortable. Right now, I'm sitting in an easy chair in my den overlooking the lake typing this review, and I've got my new Wolverines on my feet. You hardly know they are there!!

Not worth the cost! By egawrys 10/31/2010

These boots do not stand up well in cold weather, After less than 3 months of use I have stitching coming out in multiple places (both heels and along the sides) These boots should have been at least triple if not quadruple stiched since just double stiching has allowed areas to begin to come apart. Also the material the sole is made of is too hard for winter/cold weather conditions and they act like ice skates once they get cold, large cracks have developed in the sole penetrating multiple layers of material due to the lack of flex when they are cold. I have strong doubts these boots will make it the rest of the season and I am not in an area that will be easy to get replacements. I expected a lot more out of $180 boots and have had boots half the price last twice as long. These boots were not my first pair of Wolverines but they may be the last. I am very dissapointed in the craftsmanship of these boots as well as the choice of materials in a boot that was obviously designed for cold weather.

Boots are great. I'm in Antarctica at McMurdo Station. We are not supposed to endorse any product but I don't say who I work for. I come from Southern California so I wanted to make sure I had a boot to stand up to the harsh weather here during winter which frequently has temps down to -100F. These boots are great. Thanks Wolverine.

How do you most use this product?: Outside, Inside. I wear them daily. If it is only -20F I wear a regular white cotton sock. If it gets colder then that I put on wool socks. Boots breath great.
