Lightweight and comfortable By sttoplite 8/7/2012
People are amazed how light this 8" boot is compared to a standard 6" steel toe and 8" steel toe. My feet don't hurt from walking on concrete all day and legs don't either because of the Carbonmax toes

I work in a shop so i don't need the insulation or waterpoof variety.i've got a pair of durashocks, they're so comfortable that i wore them all the time. i decided that i should get another pair so i can rotate them, allowing them to dry more thorouhly.i read about the carbonmax with it's roomier toe area, so i purchased them instead . boy they're so comfortable and roomy that i bought 3 more and never wear the durashocks anymore.i also applied tuff toe over the toe area to increase the life of the boot. they work well and one tube covered the toe area of two boots. i didn't like the shinny finish,so i sanded them to a matte finish. my feet are wider then average when compared to length, thus i purchased the EW in 8" height.
