Ridgeline-Lo Wolverine® Insulated GORE-TEX® Waterproof All Leather Boot

Was it the winter of 2009/2010 that a blizzard hit the midwest? I nearly froze to death! I swore I would never be that unprepared again. I came up to this area again in late 2011 and I purchased the proper gear including these shoes. The 600 gram thinsulate kept my feet warm in -5 degree weather as I tromped thru the snow. I was a little leary of ordering on line without trying them on but I went to Sears to verify my foot measurement and they fit perfectly.

This is obviously a very well made and rugged boot that should give many years of service. It felt a bit tight right out of the box for my size 10.5 wide foot but became much more comfortable with a few wearings. I'll use it for winter hiking, exercise walks along my rural road and for snowshoeing. I would recommend this as a very sturdy and functional outdoor boot.

I bought a pair five years ago to wear to work in the winter. I work basically outside and in snow. Great boot. I will buy a third pair when I need them. Warm,comfy,& lite.
